Btw, I must ask you something. You use colored clay right? What brand is it? Or do you have any tips about a good brand? I make some small clay figures but as I use Super Sculpey I always have to paint it and sometime I think it would be so much better if I had colored clay instead. Before I had cernit and.... uuuurk that clay is either like stone or like butter that melt in my hands. X____x
Yup I use colored clay. The two brands I use are premo Sculpey and fimo. Some premo colors are very nice to work with, but the lighter colors tend to be pretty mushy sometimes. Not always though. Also I think premo clay isn't as consistent as fimo clay. I bought black premo clay and it ranged from rock hard, great to work with, to mush. Fimo is more consistent (I haven't bought fimo clay that was rock hard) ,but is softer than premo overall I'll say. The light colors are really mush and holds fingerprints easily. I have to squish it between papers several times in order to work with it. I was able to work easily with both brands when the clay was a right consistency, but so many problems when they're not The darker colored clays are normally pretty nice to work with I squish the clay before I buy it to make sure it's not a rock.
I have to look at this a little now and again, and EVERYTIME I get completely awestruck at the details! And everytime I get Kid Icarus theme song in my head and remember how friggin hard it was. XD
